Wonton Soup

Ingredients
8 cups chicken broth
4 garlic cloves, smashed
4 slices fresh ginger, ¼” thick
3 TB Chinese cooking wine
3 TB soy sauce
¾ TSP sesame oil
For garnish – 2 green onions sliced and bean sprouts
Homemade or frozen dumplings
Preparation
Place all the ingredients in a large Dutch oven. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer 10 minutes. Bring the soup back to a boil, add the wontons/dumplings**, immediately reduce the heat. Simmer an additional 10 minutes. Remove the ginger slices and garlic. Pour into bowls and garnish with green onions and bean sprouts.
