Fancy Pigs in a Blanket
1 package Crescent Rolls
1 Package Lil’ Smokies Cocktail Smokes Sausages
3 TB Dijon mustard
¼ cup shredded cheese (I prefer swiss, but any melty cheese will work)
2 TB Everything but the Bagel seasoning (Trader Joe’s)
Preheat the oven to 375˚ F.
Unroll the crescent roll dough. Separate into rectangles and pinch the diagonal perforations together. Next cut each rectangle in half lengthwise. You will end up with 16 rectangles.
Smear about 1 TSP of Dijon mustard onto each rectangle. Top with a sprinkling of shredded cheese. Place one sausage at the top of the short side of the dough and roll. Press gently so the seam stays closed. Repeat steps until all 16 are made.
Place the rolls on a parchment lined baking sheet about 1” apart. In a small place whisk the one egg. Brush each roll with egg and top with the Everything but the Bagel Seasoning.
Bake 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
